Paediatric Palliative Care Worker

This is an exciting new opportunity to work with the Community Children’s Nursing Team who meet the care and support needs of children, young people and their families on the Children’s Palliative Care Pathway.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who is committed to learning and developing within our team. You will work closely with the named nurse for palliative care to deliver high quality care and support to children and their families with specialist palliative care needs.

Baby Steps Facilitator

Full Time 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £28,060 to £29,545 per annum

Minimum Qualification NNEB, CACHE or equivalent:

We seek an experienced practitioner to join our Child and Family Services.

The post holder will work under the supervision of the Health Visitors to deliver the baby Steps programme. This programme supports Jersey’s 1001 Critical Days Agenda.

Baby Steps is a perinatal educational programme which means it’s for parents in the run up to the birth of their baby and afterwards. It’s designed to help prepare people for becoming parents, not just for the birth itself.

Training to enable delivery of this programme will be given.

Car owner/driver to enable you to undertake the job is essential.
