The Dandara Colour Fun Run took place along St Aubin’s Bay on 5th June. 800 runners were showered with coloured paint as they make their way along a five-kilometre stretch of the beach.

The paint, which was made of biodegradable corn starch in five colours, was thrown from colour stations along the route. Each colour was sponsored by a local organisation; the headline sponsor Dandara was blue, UBS was red, JTC was purple, The Enhance Group was green and NED Bank was neon yellow.

FNHC’s fundraising manager, Ivo Le Maistre Smith, said ‘I’d like to take this opportunity to thank our headline sponsor, Dandara, and our colour sponsors UBS, JTC, Enhance Group and NED Bank, as without their help the event wouldn’t be possible. It was a fantastic community event and one that was unique in Jersey. The focus was entirely on people having fun and raising money to help FNHC provide a Paediatric Care Worker in Jersey.’

Martin Clancy, Managing Director of Dandara Jersey, commented ‘We were delighted to be involved in the inaugural colour run, helping to raise money for such a worthwhile charity.'

Please send your photos and videos in to us or post them on our Facebook page!
