The Dandara Colour Run 2018
The Dandara Colour Run 2018 will explode in a riot of colour on Saturday 16th June.
Join up to 1,500 runners as you follow a circular five-kilometre route stretching along the beach from West Park to Bel Royal and back.
But don't expect to stay clean! This year we've got some new surprises in store!
Don’t Dodge the Dye - We’ll be throwing more paint from our five Colour Stations than ever before.
Colour Clash. Pick a side and paint your opponents. Which colour will win?
Paint the crowd! Raise sponsorship for Paediatric Nursing and you could be setting off one of three Colour fountains from the stage!
Your questions answered...
Q - How much is it to enter?
A - If you are 16 or over, it costs £25 + a small booking fee per person to enter. If you are under 16 it costs £20 + a small booking fee per person.
However, this year we are offering early bird rates of £5 less per person if you register before the end of April, so get your skates on!
Q - What does my registration fee cover?
A - Your registration fee covers your entry into the Dandara Colour Run, all of your paint, an event T-shirt to run in, a donation to Family Nursing & Home Care and other extras too.
Q - Will there be paint?
A - Yes, lots of it!
Q - When is it exactly?
A - The exact times of the event depend on the tides and the state of the sand at West Park. However, we expect it to run between 2pm and about 6pm at the latest. We will keep in touch with you about important details like this so watch out for our emails and keep an eye on our Facebook Page.
Q - What is the paint?
The paint is made of biodegradable corn starch and is non-toxic and environmentally friendly. It comes in five colours, and is thrown from colour stations along the route. Each colour is sponsored by a local organisation; the headline sponsor Dandara is blue, UBS is red, The Enhance Group is pink, BNP Paribas are yellow and Jersey Electricity are green.
Q - What's it all for?
You'll be raising money to help local charity Family Nursing & Home Care provide a Paediatric Care Worker to help support Jersey families with children with short lives in Jersey.
