Community Children’s Nurse – Grade 4

Role details

We are looking for an experienced Children’s Nurse ,  experience in Community Nursing is beneficial.

Essentially you must have –

• A Registered Children’s Nursing qualification (Diploma/Degree)
• A minimum of 2 year’s post qualifying experience
• Children’s Nursing experience in the last 12 months

The successful applicant needs to be enthusiastic and motivated and be able to evidence excellent communication, organisational and team working skills.

This is an excellent opportunity to utilise leadership and clinical knowledge as the successful applicant will be required to ensure the CCNT continue to –

• Provide high quality, evidenced based nursing care to children in the community
• Support children who have a package of care, families on the Palliative Care Pathway and children and young people attending Mont a l’Abbe School who have a nursing need.

The successful applicant will have access to regular clinical and safeguarding supervision and have annual appraisals to enhance the achievement of personal development goals.
