Development Role -Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner -Grade 6A

The Advanced Clinical Practice aims to offer a bespoke Community Nursing Service that includes alternatives to hospital admission, including patients requiring a high level of clinical assessment and decision making to support delivery of nursing care within the patient's home.

hours: 37.5 over a 24/7 working week rotating nights and days

salary: £60,350 - £64,137 upgrading to £66,155 when qualified.

Role details

You will need to demonstrate a high level of clinical skills with proven clinical decision making abilities as well as excellent leadership and team co-ordination skills.

This role includes collaborative working with other stakeholders, negotiation and interpersonal skills and cross boundary working.  Change management skills are essential.

As this is a development post you will be expected to complete an approved MSc programme covering the four pillars of advanced clinical practice, along with a portfolio of core and service specific clinical competencies. On successful completion you will be upgraded to the appropriate grading and salary and will be an Advanced Clinical Practitioner.

As a new role and service data collection, analysis and reporting will be a key element of the role.
