The 2017 Annual Scarecrow Trail

Kindly Sponsored this year by

and with special thanks to Mrs Elizabeth Franks

Have a go at spotting all 25 scarecrows during the Bank Holiday weekend!

Family Nursing & Home Care (FNHC) are organising the fourth annual Scarecrow Trail from Saturday 27th  to Bank Holiday Monday 29th May 2017.  You do not need tickets to visit our Scarecrows, but you will need one of our maps and answer sheets and we ask for a minimum donation of £2 per person taking part.

Over the Bank Holiday weekend 27th-29th May, scarecrows inspired by “Heroes and Villains” will be lining the Railway Walk.

Made by individuals, local groups, schools and local businesses, the best scarecrows will be chosen by public vote.  The theme this year is “Heroes and Villains”.  Scarecrow makers can chose to interpret this theme pretty widely, making famous Heroes and Villains, fictional or historical!

You'll need a map to find the scarecrows and an answer sheet to record who they are!

You can download your Scarecrow Trail map by clicking on this link and print your Question sheet here, please donate by Paypal here!

They are also on sale from Anderson's DIY and Off The Rails Cafe and over the weekend we'll be by The Off The Rails Café selling them there too!

Remember to vote for your favourites to help us pick the winning entries! And to say thanks for voting, we'll enter you into our free prize draw.
