Colour Challenge 2020
Join us this year and take on your own Colour Challenge to support Family Nursing & Home Care.
Due to Coronavirus and government guidelines about mass events, we’ve had to sadly postpone this year’s much-loved Colour Festival, which last year attracted 1600 participants and raised £27,000 to help us fund the post of a Paediatric Palliative Care Worker.
However, we hope that people who were due to take part – and anyone else – will still feel able to support us to raise much-needed funds by taking on their own “Colour Challenge” – while wearing bright clothing and/or a t short from a previous FNHC Colour Festival or Colour Run! We want to give islanders who love the Colour Festival as much as we do, a great alternative.
You can walk, cycle, run or swim, beat your personal best or take on any other fun physical activity – and you can nominate a friend to do the same. You might choose a distance challenge like 1K, 3K or 5K. You can take part with friends, colleagues or as a family. The suggested donation is £5 per person and it’s easy to donate.
You can take on your “Colour Challenge” anytime between now and the end of July – and you might want to schedule it for when the Colour Festival would have taken place – on Saturday, 4 July to mark the event.
We’d love to see the photos or video of you performing your Colour Challenge on our social media channels, with the hashtag #ColourChallenge2020, so please tag us in when you post. Find us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram by searching “Family Nursing & Home Care”
If you don’t have access to social media, you can send them to email@example.com
