Family Nursing & Home Care’s Colour Festival returns to the beach for 2026

Family Nursing & Home Care (FNHC) is delighted to announce the return of its much-loved Colour Festival in 2026 — a vibrant and inclusive beach event that promises an unforgettable celebration of joy, community and colour.

Taking place this year on Saturday 16th May, the Colour Festival invites islanders of all ages and abilities to take part in a fun run or walk along a scenic 1km beach course. With no timing, no lap counting and no pressure, participants are encouraged to complete the route at their own pace — whether running, walking, dancing, skipping or twirling.

As participants make their way around the course, they will be showered in bursts of colour from FNHC’s generous sponsors: Appleby, Stonehage Fleming, Jersey Freemasons, Baccata, Islands Insurance, HSBC, Ports of Jersey and Jersey Electricity. Their support ensures the event is brighter and more spectacular than ever.

The Colour Festival is designed to be fully inclusive, welcoming everyone from toddlers in buggies and wheelchair users to large family groups and even four-legged friends. The focus is on participation, enjoyment and community spirit.

All proceeds from the Colour Festival support FNHC’s Children’s Palliative Care team. This vital service provides respite and support for families facing life-limiting and life-threatening illnesses, helping children achieve their goals and enjoy meaningful experiences.
