FNHC’s recent Childhood Health Improvement Pilot Project (CHIPP), funded by the Jersey Community Foundation, has been recognised at this year’s Jersey Charity Awards.
CHIPP is a ground breaking initiative aimed at tackling childhood obesity and health inequalities in Jersey. As part of this work, FNHC introduced the evidence-based HENRY (Health, Exercise, and Nutrition for the Really Young) Programme to support parents of children aged 0–12 in making sustainable, healthy lifestyle changes. At the awards ceremony, hosted by the Association of Jersey Charities and held at Government House, the HENRY Programme team were delighted to be awarded 3rd place in the Outstanding Achievement Award for Large Charities and this recognition is a testament to their passion, hard work, and dedication to improving the health and wellbeing of children and families across Jersey.
