Support For Island Visitors

Family Nursing & Home Care (FNHC) District Nurses provide expert care to patients over the age of 18* in individual homes, residences and clinical settings. District Nurses support islanders to help them avoid the onset and reduce the impact of illness. They work with people to try to limit disability or incapacity and shorten the duration of illnesses. They also support the management of long term conditions and have deep extensive expertise in palliative and end of life care. They have the courage to do things differently and strive to provide innovation and new levels of care to the community.

When you need us, we will be there.

*The healthcare needs of children aged between 16-18 are supported by children’s and adult’s services.
