FNHC were part of the steering committee for the Island Research Repository, allowing islanders to access research resources free of charge.

We are delighted to announce that thanks to the Island Research Repository (IRR), islanders in Jersey will now be able to access a whole range of research journals, articles and resources, free of charge.

The IRR has been set up with the aim of creating easy-to-access materials covering a wide range of topics from health and social care to politics, environment and history. Its goal is to allow islanders to access resources that they previously may not have been able to, due to factors such as costly subscriptions.

So that the platform continually evolves, as well as hosting research, the IRR also welcomes submissions from the public, researchers, students, non-profit groups, charities, and the public sector.

Family Nursing and Home Care were part of the steering committee for IRR and would like to encourage islanders to make the most of this knowledge sharing initiative.

Commenting on this new platform, Rosemarie Finley, CEO of Family Nursing & Home Care said:

The IRR is made possible through funding from the Jersey Community Foundation and the Institute of Law, with development by the Jersey International Centre of Advanced Studies (JICAS).
