Christine Blackwood Committee Member

Christine is committed to upholding professional standards, excellent clinical practice and the protection and safeguarding of people receiving care. 

She worked in professional care regulation in Jersey for over 20 years, most recently as head of department, and was the policy officer responsible for developing the Jersey Regulation of Care Law and updating professional registration legislation. 

She has knowledge and experience of governance, regulation and professional standards and having worked with community health and social care providers for many years in Jersey, understands the challenges and opportunities facing these services. Christine is a qualified general nurse and psychology graduate.
