Sometimes patients who have suffered injuries or undergone complex medical procedures may have wounds that are difficult to heal. Whilst this can happen to patients of all ages, it is experienced more widely by the elderly and more vulnerable members of our community.
Our expert wound care nurses work with patients and the other medical professionals involved in their care, to treat any slow or non-healing wounds including ulcers, infections and chronic oedema. They work with patients to understand their needs via telephone, home consultations or in our District Nursing Clinic. We have deep extensive expertise on all aspects of wound care, especially complex and non-healing wounds.
When you need us, we will be there.
